Rachel Krentzman, RPT, RYT, CPI
Director/Therapist

Click for full-size photo Rachel is the founder and clinical director of Equilibrium Therapeutics. Rachel is a registered physical therapist, registered yoga teacher, certified Purna Yoga™ Instructor at the 2000 hour level, certified pilates instructor and certified Reiki practitioner. She has worked as a physical therapist in a variety of setting including hospitals, rehabilitation centers and outpatient clinics since graduating from McGill University (Montreal, Quebec) in 1996. Rachel has completed an advanced degree in Yoga Studies at the College of Purna Yoga in Bellevue, WA. with Aadil Palkhivala (http://www.yogacenters.com/) and holds certificates in Hatha Yoga and Ayurveda and Yoga. She has also studied Iyengar Yoga with Sunny and Aman Keays (Full Circle Yoga Institute) and Ashtanga and Vinyasa Yoga with Amy Caldwell (Yoga One) in San Diego, CA.

Rachel is passionate about integrating traditional physical therapy with yoga, ayurveda, meditation and nutrition for more complete and long term healing of the whole person. Rachel draws from her own experience of healing herself from a severe back injury using an integrative approach and specializes in healing chronic back pain, disc herniations, fibromyalgia and womens' health issues. Rachel is also the clinical director of the therapeutic yoga program for Reproductive Wellness in San Diego, CA (http://reproductivewellness.com/) and has developed a specialized fertility yoga program to enhance fertility for both men and women. She especially enjoys teaching other health care providers as a member of the teaching faculty of the Professional Yoga Therapy Studies' Yoga Certification for Health Care Professionals. (http://www.proyogatherapy.com/). Rachel is a member of Yoga Alliance (RYT at 500 hour advanced level), International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT) and the Yoga Education Society (Y.E.S.).



Diana Smith , MS, PT, RYT
Therapist
Click for full-size photoDiana Smith is a Physical Therapist and a registered yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance. She graduated from USC with a Master's Degree in Physical Therapy, and is a graduate of Spiritual Yoga teacher training. She has been practicing Physical Therapy for 19 years in San Diego in various settings. She is an avid Iyengar yoga practitioner and particularly enjoys using yoga therapeutics for treatment. She has attended a variety of workshops taught by Roger Cole, and has specialty training manual therapy, soft tissue mobilization and strain-counterstrain.

Anna Laramee, RYT
Yoga Instructor
Click for full-size photoAnna Laramee is a certified yoga instructor. She has been trained extensively in both the Iyengar and Vinyasa Traditions of Yoga. She completed her teacher training with Erich Schiffmann and continues her practice in Iyengar Yoga. After nine years of Yoga practice, Anna has taken up the additional study of chanting the Yoga Sutras to increase her depth of understanding. In her sessions, Anna draws on these diverse resources to create a practice that supports the healing of injuries while developing the students' hidden strengths. Anna also specializes in Restorative Yoga, blending supported Yoga postures with deep breathing and massage to relieve tension and create a greater sense of ease.
